The pace of commercialisation is very positive despite the current context and 52% of the available properties have already been sold.
Metrovacesa, Spain’s leading real estate developer with more than 100 years of history, has started work on Living, the first tower of the Málaga Towers project. The developer, which will develop yet another residential tower within this already iconic project in the city of Malaga, has relied on the proven experience of Sacyr for these construction works. Living, which will comprise 71 homes distributed over 21 floors, a full floor of offices and commercial premises with sea views, is scheduled to be completed in April 2023, with the first homes to be delivered in the summer of the same year. Despite the economic and health context caused by the pandemic, the marketing of this development is progressing at a good pace and has already reached a sales rate of 52%.
Málaga Towers is one of Metrovacesa’s key projects, both nationally and as part of its solid commitment to the Costa del Sol, where it is currently promoting 21 developments with a total of more than 1,200 homes. For the development of the two towers of the project, Metrovacesa will allocate a total investment of more than 138 million euros.
This project represents one of the most important urban developments for the city at present and once built, the project will bring a significant change to the city’s skyline. This residential development will comprise a total of 213 spacious homes, up to 404 m2, with large terraces overlooking the Malaga coastline, distributed in three exclusively designed towers. In addition, the homes will have spacious communal areas equipped with three swimming pools -one heated and two outdoor-, spa, gymnasium, coworking area, audiovisual room with games room and infirmary.
Lorenzo Santana, director of Metrovacesa’s Eastern Andalusia office, said: “The start of construction of this project is a milestone for Metrovacesa and, in particular, for our office. We will continue to work with all our enthusiasm and to make the most of our experience in the Malaga real estate market to ensure that this development continues to consolidate its position as an iconic and beneficial project for the city”.
